Morning Camp: Paleo Pottery

Time: 9am until 12pm

Clay vessels were made and used long before the invention of the wheel. This camp will explore pottery through some of the oldest and still traditional hand-building techniques of coiling, slab construction, and pinching. Campers will also dabble in some surface decoration and paint on their pots with underglazes.

Lunch Bunch Hour

Time: 12pm until 1pm

Lunch bunch is included in all day camp packages. Please be sure to pack a bagged lunch for your child.

Afternoon Camp: thINK Tank

Time: 1pm until 4pm

Campers will learn to draw from both life and photos. Drawing is a way of communicating and seeing the world that surrounds us. This class, taught by a working artist, will help students learn the principles of design, perspective, and composition. Also, campers will learn printmaking techniques to reproduce their drawings.
