Description:

Race to the finish and create your own racing game in Microsoft's Kodu gaming environment.  From terrain design to enemy selection, students are placed at the wheel and given full control to design their own video game while exploring the foundations of coding.

Required age: 7 - 11 years old on the day of the activity

Notes: What is included within this program? We have (4) 30-40 minute videos prepared that walk students through an introduction to programming and game design using KODU Game Lab. Students will not need to purchase any additional resources or even create a log-in. If they wish to create a log-in they may do so, but as you can see through these videos, we accomplished everything without a log-in.
