Transportation Policy

Be sure your student arrives 10 minutes before (no earlier please) his/her scheduled class time. Parents understand that to comply with the sign-in/out procedures, the parent will come into the session to drop off and pick up a child. A Parent/Guardian or other authorized adults must sign each child in/out of each session. Engineering For Kids® shall not release a child to any person without a parent's consent. Engineering For Kids® reserves the right to require identification of any person picking up your child. If a person is designated NOT eligible to pick up a child, the parent agrees to provide Engineering For Kids® custodial paperwork. Exception: For after-school lessons, the child may come directly from classes at their school to our lesson and a parent does not need to sign the child in.

Cancellation Policy

The parent agrees to provide two weeks written notice prior to terminating a child from the program. Cancellations by the parent that occur at least 2 weeks prior to the start of a program will be subject to a $25 cancellation fee to cover credit card fees. Cancellations 2 weeks prior to the first day of a program will be subject to a $50 cancellation fee and the balance will be refunded or credited. After the first day of a program, there will be NO refunds or credits.

Engineering For Kids® reserves the right to cancel the session due to the number of registrants or any other reason at their discretion and, upon doing so, will refund the registration fee.

Makeup Policy
Because of our strict student to teacher ratio, missed classes will not result in make-up classes, prorated tuition, or refunds. No refunds for classes missed including scheduled holidays.

Medical Emergencies

I agree to inform Engineering For Kids® within 24 hours if my child or any member of the household develops a reportable communicable disease (immediate notification required if the disease is life-threatening). I also agree to inform Engineering For Kids® in writing of any special medical requirements upon registration (e.g. EpiPen, etc.).

The Engineering For Kids® staff shall notify me whenever my child becomes ill and I will arrange to have my child picked up as soon as possible. In the event I cannot be reached in an emergency, I hereby give permission to the Engineering For Kids® staff to seek medical treatment at the nearest medical facility. Payment for services will be my responsibility.

Release of Claim

I, do hereby agree to indemnify and hold harmless, release, and discharge the sponsoring organization of said Engineering For Kids® session and staff from any and all claims for personal injuries or property damage occurring to or sustained by myself/and or my child, while participating in said activity including any and all consequential damage claims which I may be entitled to recover from said injury or property damage claim.
