Description

Engineering for Kids brings science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) to kids ages 4 to 14 in a fun and challenging way through classes, camps, clubs, and parties. We are proud to inspire children to build on their natural curiosity by teaching engineering concepts through hands-on learning. Our approach is to teach kids the how and why things work to give your child the full scope of their projects and the importance of careers in STEM. Our STEM lessons provide real-world application and issues for students to solve using problem solving and critical thinking skills while making each lesson fun and exciting! Each class centers around the Engineering Design Process, in which students are encouraged to invent, build, succeed and even fail sometimes, always followed by improvement and innovation! Students receive a few minutes of instruction, during which our instructors show them how the concepts they learn in school, and the problems humanity faces in the real world, relate to their project. Most of the time is spent designing and building and testing their projects.
