PARENT & CHILD LESSONS (ages 6 mths-3 yrs)

The following American Red Cross lessons run 30 minutes. These lessons strive for a 1:10 teacher to student ratio.

Develop a high comfort level in the water while at the same time training parents in water safety, and drowning prevention. Children are introduced to the water and taught basic water skills. The main goal is to teach water adjustment in a fun and positive way. The class is designed for one parent per child

Required age: 6 - 36 months on the day of the activity

Prerequisites: Child must be at least 6 months old at start of class. Parent/Guardian must be in water with child (1 parent guardian per child)
