Whether you’re new to painting or already love the vibrant magic of watercolor, this class has something for everyone. Join Kristi Arzola as she guides you step-by-step, helping you feel confident to explore, create, and most importantly—have a great time. You’ll learn tips, tricks, and techniques to bring your ideas to life in a laid-back, supportive setting.

Notes: Required Materials • Arches Cold Press Watercolor Block (or something similar: 100% cotton & acid free) • #10 Round Watercolor Brush (or something similar: 3/8” wide round) • Lightfast Watercolor Pans or Tubes (I suggest Van Gogh, White Nights or Winsor & Newton Cotman) Suggested Colors: Cadmium Yellow, Cadmium Red, Sap Green, Ultramarine, Paynes Gray, Burnt Sienna, Burnt Umber • Paint Palette and/or Mixing Tray • 2 Water Containers • A Kitchen Sponge and/or Paper Towels • Standard #2 Pencil & Eraser (I recommend also having a 4H pencil & kneaded eraser.) Suggested Materials • Cheap/Scrap Watercolor Paper (for practice not for painting) • Winsor & Newton Colorless Masking Fluid • Silicone Tapered Sculpting Tool (for applying masking fluid) • ¼” Square Watercolor Brush (or something similar) • #2 Round Watercolor Brush (or something similar) • #2 Script Liner Brush (or something similar) • Blue Painters Tape (for taping down your watercolor paper if you’re not using a watercolor block) • If you’re not using a watercolor block, you’ll need a Gatorboard (Or something similar; a water-resistant surface to tape your watercolor paper to. A plastic or plexiglass board works perfectly.) • Black Micron Pen Size 05 • Handheld Single Hole Punch (size and shape doesn’t matter) • Winsor & Newton Designers Gouache Permanent White

Prerequisites: New to watercolors? We recommend a 1-hour private intro lesson with Kristi before diving in—she’s got you covered with all the supplies you’ll need!
