PICK-UP PROCEDURE:

Youth students should be picked up in the lobby promptly at the end of class.

LOBBY POLICY

  • We are asking that families plan to drop off their youth students and leave the studio, rather than waiting in the lobby during class time, in order to minimize the number of people in the space.
  • Any adults who do remain at Esh during class time must remain in the lobby and may not enter the main training space nor block the door between the lobby and the studio. Adults who must be reminded of these policies multiple times will be asked not to remain on the premesis during class time.

WHAT TO WEAR & WHAT TO BRING

Remember to bring a water bottle labeled with your young person's name!

Come dressed for circus! This means:

  • Students must wear clothing that is stretchy but not baggy and that stays in place when they go upside down. For aerials classes, outfits should cover the armpits, waist, and the legs past the knees.
  • Clothing must be free of zippers, clasps, velcro, hooks, or anything else that can snag fabric, skin, or hair.
  • Sequined clothing is not permitted during circus class. The sequins damage the aerial fabric; families will be responsible for the cost of replacing aerial fabric damaged by their child's sequined clothing.
  • Students should be prepared to go barefoot – this means no footed tights!
  • Long hair should be tied back and long nails should be cut.
  • Students should remove all jewelry before arriving at the studio.
  • Wear or bring deodorant if age appropriate
  • If your child wears glasses, bring a sports band to secure them in place.
  • Cover all wounds. Please use bandages and tape over all open cuts or scrapes.

As always, please reach out with any questions and we will be happy to help. You can contact us at info@eshcircusarts.com. Looking forward to welcoming your family to Esh!
