Description:

A dynamic leadership camp where older teens will learn and practice how to lead and mentor but also how to use ASL to empower themselves and others. Activities will focus on communication, advocacy, and team-building skills with an emphasis on Deaf culture and community leadership. Campers will participate in leadership workshops, group projects, and practice real-world leadership scenarios using ASL. 

Requirements: All potential participants must send in an application video to apply to attend leadership camp.  Past DYT Staff and LIT’s can attend this program 

Mandatory membership(s):

• Parent/Guardian of Deaf or Hard of Hearing Child (Voting Member)

Price: $100.00 Taxes waived

Required age: 14 - 18 years old as of 8/31/2026
