This is the 30-hour course in Office Management and Related Topics required for all broker candidates as part of the 150-hour broker licensing requirement. If you are a licensed attorney or hold a broker license in another state, you can apply to the NJ Real Estate Commission for a waiver of the 90-hour General Real Estate course, but you ARE required to take this one. You can save money by registering for all three courses as a package as Class # 2533-P. All Broker classes are delivered via Zoom.

Notes: School Policy on Attendance and Final Exams • Garden State Real Estate Academy and its licensed instructors have a legal and ethical obligation to certify to the NJ Real Estate Commission only those attendees who have attended and participated in the entire pre-licensing course. You must study each module and complete all Tracks, Assessments, Assignments and Section Reviews. You must attain at least a 70% passing grade for each quiz and review. • You must complete the course on your own and pass the proctored examination without referring to another person or to any notes or reference materials. If you are taking the final exam using Zoom, your camera must be on your full front facial view for the entirety of the final exam. • If you fail the school’s final exam, as a customer courtesy, we will allow you to take another final exam up to three times at no extra cost. School Policy on Cancellations •Persons who cancel a class 3 days before the class starts will receive a full refund minus a $50 service charge. •Persons who cancel a class 1 day before the class starts will receive a full refund minus a $75 service charge except the Exam Prep class, the Across the River class or NJ license Fast Track class. •Persons who no/show or who cancel after they have begun a class has started will receive no refund. One Year Eligibility Notice All candidates for New Jersey Real Estate Licenses are required to complete the fingerprinting process as a condition of securing a real estate license after completing the 75-hour pre-licensing course and before the ELIGIBILITY EXPIRATION DATE. Individual candidates have ONE YEAR from the completion date of their last day of their pre licensure class (ELIGIBILITY EXPIRATION DATE) to take the following steps. You should complete the following steps as soon as possible: • Schedule, take and pass the state examination administered by PSI Services • Complete and provide evidence of fingerprinting process which includes: o The applicants completed Universal Form o A copy of the payment receipt issued by Identogo o All applicants must pay the criminal history record check fee directly to Identogo o The total cost for this process is $62.69 (please note payment is required at the time of scheduling) • File a fully completed application for licensure with the REC Licensing Services Bureau through a sponsoring broker.
Prerequisites: To qualify for a broker's license, an applicant must have a high school education or equivalent and must successfully complete 150 hours of prelicensure education. Applicants must first complete a 90-hour general real estate course, and then two 30-hour courses on Agency/Ethics and Office Management and related topics. In addition, applicants must have been continually licensed and employed on a full-time basis as a New Jersey Real Estate Salesperson for the three years immediately preceding the application. After completing the three required courses, applicants must submit their completed school certificate and a completed Experience Report for Broker Applicant Form to the Education Qualification Section of the Commission. Following review and approval, the applicant will be mailed a Certificate of Examination Eligibility, which may be used to make a reservation to take the Broker License examination. An applicant must pass the broker license examination and apply for/request the issuance of a license as a broker or broker-salesperson no later than one year after their successful completion of the broker prelicensure education requirements.
