Description:

This is a six week course for writers who wish to move beyond the initial stages of free-form writing and begin giving shape to their narrative. We will begin by examining story ideas and work on the elements of short fiction: character, plot, setting, point of view, voice and revision. Participants should be prepared to immerse themselves in writing and in learning to “read like a writer”. The goal is to have an initial draft of a completed short story by the end of the six weeks.

Notes: If you are at all unwell, please do not attend GNAG activities. in the interest of protecting the health of the other participants and staff. PA Day/camp requires at least 2 weeks' notice in advance of the start date and time. 1. Within notification period: Refund with 7% admin fee or credit on GNAG account with no fee. 2. Less than notification period: Refunds or credits on GNAG account will not be issued. 3. Change your mind? Notify us first! We can help. A transfer requires the same period of notification. Pro-rated refunds will be given with a medical certificate should a refund be approved. Emilie’s classes, memberships for indoor playground, school walkovers, PA Day programs, pottery studio and fitness memberships and tickets are NON- REFUNDABLE. There will be no refunds for tickets to our events. There will be no refunds after the program mid-point.
