Description:
Bring a sketchbook, pencil, eraser, a reference photo to work from or a drawing in progress and join us!
If you’ve never drawn before Nina will supply still life photos for you to start with to learn the basics. We’ll focus on line drawing and tones (shading). Learn about rough sketches, making corrections, measuring, using a plumb line, perspective, creating depth, improving a composition, using colour.
As you develop your skills move on to what interests you…florals, animals, landscapes, seascapes, buildings, figures, portraits… you can work at your own pace and this is a relaxed, supportive environment. Nina provides individual instruction, demonstrate techniques, use PowerPoint presentations to cover topics of interest.
You can explore a range of media in this course: graphite pencil, charcoal, pen and ink, soft pastels, coloured pencils, water soluble coloured pencils (including brushwork).

Notes: If you are at all unwell, please do not attend GNAG activities. in the interest of protecting the health of the other participants and staff. Refunds, Credits and Transfers Notification required: Program/Class/Workshop requires at least 1 week's notice in advance of the start date and time. PA Day/camp requires at least 2 weeks' notice in advance of the start date and time. 1. Within notification period: Refund with 7% admin fee or credit on GNAG account with no fee. 2. Less than notification period: Refunds or credits on GNAG account will not be issued. 3. Change your mind? Notify us first! We can help. A transfer requires the same period of notification. Pro-rated refunds will be given with a medical certificate should a refund be approved. Emilie’s classes, memberships for indoor playground, school walkovers, PA Day programs, pottery studio and fitness memberships and tickets are NON- REFUNDABLE. There will be no refunds for tickets to our events. There will be no refunds after the program mid-point.
