Description:
We combine movement activities, listening games, and instrumental play more complex than that in preschool. Rudimentary music skills succeed, repeat, and become more refined: more advanced pitch matching, beat patterns, ensemble development, and notation "decoding." Children having fun do not realize they are learning abstract concepts.
