Are you wanting to be able to type a letter, save a document, create a folder, organize your files by categories, create a list, create labels for a mailing, create and send out an invitation, type up a favorite recipe? In this Word Processing Class you will be introduced to these activities and much more.

PRE-REQ: To register for this class, you are required to have daily access to a computer with Microsoft Office Word installed on it and must have successfully completed the Windows Fundamentals Class.

If you need to improve your Keyboard Typing Skills, consider searching the Internet for one of the FREE Keyboard Tutorials (self-teaching experiences). Practice honing your confidence in using the computer keyboard before the class begins February 6th.

Notes: Students should have competent keyboarding skills to get the most out of this class. If you need to improve your own typing skills, search for keyboarding tutorials online to ensure your success in class

Prerequisites: Requires successful completion of Windows Fundamentals. To attend this class, ALL students must have access to their OWN computer and have Microsoft Word installed on their computer. (check to see what version is on your home computer: MS Word 365 or one of the versions such as Microsoft WOrd 2016 or later.)
