Get ready for a week of fun experiments, hands-on activities, and exciting scientific discoveries! Led by local legend Phil Amormino, this camp will introduce campers to the fascinating world of science, from chemistry experiments to physics challenges. Campers will learn scientific principles in a fun, interactive way and develop critical thinking skills while engaging in hands-on experiments that bring science to life.

All Hanna Camps focus on their specialized theme in the morning, with afternoons packed with classic summer fun—swimming, outdoor games, crafts, and more. Every camper receives a camp shirt, and lunch is included daily.

Meet the Expert
Phil Amormino has had a lifelong passion for science and teaching. Although retired from formal teaching, he continues to share his love of physics and hands-on science with students. Phil has extensive experience tutoring at local schools and working on a variety of scientific projects. His enthusiasm and ability to engage students in learning make his Mad Science camp both educational and fun.

Refund Schedule 30 or more days before camp: Eligible for a full refund. 15–29 days before camp: Eligible for a 50% refund of the total camp fee. Less than 14 days before camp: No refund available. 2. Medical or Emergency Cancellations In the event of illness, injury, or a family emergency, we may offer a refund or camp credit with appropriate documentation (e.g., a doctor’s note). Please reach out as soon as possible to discuss your situation. 3. Camp Session Cancellations If a camp session is canceled due to low enrollment, extreme weather, or other unforeseen circumstances, families will receive a full refund. 4. Transfer or Credit Requests If space allows, you may request to transfer your registration to another session or receive a credit for a future camp.
