If you have a child looking to become a stronger and safer swimmer in a group setting, our classes may be a great option for them!  Our children group lessons are suitable for children ages 4 months - 14 years.  If you are wanting 1:1 coached lessons instead, please click here.

SWIM LEVELS:  Swim level age and skill prerequisites are listed on each registration page for a specific activity.  Please carefully review any applicable prerequisites prior to completing registration.  If you are unsure which level best suits your child, please click here or email us at info@hippointhebathtub.ca. Please note that Koala is the only swim level where one parent can join in the class (for ages 4-24 months).  All other levels do not allow parent participation. 

SESSIONS:  Classes are offered in two-month sessions (varying from 6-9 classes per session).  If you have missed the start of a session, you can still register for a few classes on a drop-in basis.  Drop-in class spots will become available once the session has been running for two classes; drop-in availability is added three days in advance.

LESSON RATIOS:  For levels Koala, Hedgehog, Flamingo, Penguin, and Capybara, it will be a 3:1 swimmer to instructor ratio.  For Tiger and Hippo levels, it will be a 4:1 swimmer to instructor ratio.  

POOL SHARING:  Classes scheduled in the PINK pool can have up to two group classes running simultaneously.  Classes scheduled in the GREEN or BLUE pools will only have one class running in the pool at a time.

CANCELLATION POLICY:  The following policy will apply when canceling sessions in this program:

• 100% of credit until 14 day(s) before the beginning of the activity

• 80% of credit until 7 day(s) before the beginning of the activity

• 60% of credit until 72 hours(s) before the beginning of the activity

• No credit after 72 hours.
