Description
Established by a merger of two districts in January 1969, the Homewood-Flossmoor Park District serves a population of nearly 30,000 residents across two communities - Homewood and Flossmoor. Homewood-Flossmoor Park District owns 29 park sites and controls more than 365 acres of land. Park District facilities include H-F Racquet & Fitness Club, Coyote Run Golf Course and Wiley’s Grill restaurant, H-F Ice Arena, Marie Irwin Community Center, Goldberg Administration Center, The Clubhouse at Dolphin Lake, Irons Oaks Environmental Learning Center and Lions Club Pool. A three-time winner of the National Gold Medal Award for Excellence in Park and Recreation Management, the Homewood-Flossmoor Park District strives to fulfill our mission to enhance the quality of life through diverse recreational opportunities, facilities and parks while caring for the environment.
