Queen City Yacht Club in association with Humber Bay Sailing, presents Sail Canada Basic Keelboat Cruising Courses available at QCYC. 

Courses are run from the docks at QCYC on HBSCs state of the art Hunter 31s. Course formats: two weekends (Sat / Sun) or Monday - Friday (9:30 - 3:30).

Receive practical and theoretical training for an internationally recognized certification. Learn the skills to sail a 30-foot keelboat safely and efficiently in this hands-on course. Twenty-eight hours of training with a Sail Canada certified instructor on a 31 foot keelboat.  Upon completion of this course you should be able to sail a keelboat of up to 10 metres safely and efficiently in moderate wind and sea conditions by day.

• 28 hours of On-water & Theory instruction on a 9.5 metre keelboat (HUNTER 31).

• Sail Canada textbook and pre-course package.

• Sail Canada Registration, Logbook and Sail Canada seal.

• Taught by Sail Canada certified instructors.
