The Hurrah Players, Inc. is a 501 (c) 3 not-for-profit organization committed to unite and advance communities through accessible, quality, family-friendly performances and education. Our Performing Arts Academy has been a providing Musical Theatre Education and performance opportunities to students across Hampton Roads for over 40 years. In January of 2025, we launched the brand new Nusbaum Family TV & Film Academy, where we inspire and empower young creators ages 12–19 to discover the art and craft of filmmaking, television production, animation, photography, and digital media. Together, our academies, offer students the opportunity to perform, create, and grow in a professional, supportive environment that celebrates imagination, collaboration, and lifelong learning. Hurrah remains a cornerstone of the Hampton Roads arts community—lighting the way for generations of dreamers to come.
