In 1984, Lisa Gaeta took her first self-defense class and changed the course of her life. She created what was soon to be IMPACT so she could combine her communications degree with life-saving skills that all women should learn. As IMPACT grew, we developed more programs to address more concerns. We constantly asked questions and drew from real-life scenarios to ensure that we stayed up to date.
