Come join us August 10th, 11am-3pm, for a family friendly youth fishing event!

Taking place after the free Angler Education class put on by Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, this begins with a lunch, followed by FISHING!!

Both the Angler Education and the Fishing Derby are held at the Jersey Meadow Nature Trail retention pond!! The introductory lessons and lunch will take place under a shaded pavillion, with plenty of room for families. 

With help from our event partner, Fishing's Future, we will have a great time!!

Families are welcome to come and cheer on their children!! We recommend bringing your own source of shade, water, sunscreen, and food.
