Come join us August 10th, 9am-11am, for a family friendly youth fishing event!

Taking place before the JV Youth Fishing Derby, this is a great FREE opportunity to learn basic angling skills. This will be put on by both Fishing's Future and the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department!

Both the Angler Education and the Fishing Derby are held at the Jersey Meadow Nature Trail retention pond!! The Angler Education Course will be taking place under a shaded pavillion, with plenty of room for families. 

Families are welcome to come and learn alongside their children, but resources for the course itself are for registered participants!! We recommend bringing your own source of shade, water, sunscreen, and food.
