Central Park, located at 1899 S. Edmonds and Willow Oak, was developed in 1986 as Lewisville’s Sesquicentennial Park, celebrating 150 years of independence for the Republic of Texas. The park contains 39.5 acres of which approximately 5 acres is separated on the west side of Edmonds Lane. This park is an ideal location for family or group picnics, birthday parties, small weddings and more.
Central Park has three pavilions available for rent, with an optional, refundable alcohol permit of $200. Only beer, wine or champagne may be served if renter adds the permit to their contract, however, glass is not allowed. Bounce houses or inflatables may be added to the contract with no extra charge, but additional steps will be required to confirm your reservation. Please submit proof of your contract INCLUDING a generator rental with one of the City-approved inflatables vendors from the list at this site: https://www.playlewisville.com/parks/inflatables-permit at least 72 hours before your desired reservation date in order to allow time for confirmation.
Grills are not provided at any of the pavilions. Glass containers may not be used in the park. Must be a Lewisville resident to rent the facility. Residency will be required to complete the online rental.
Pavilion #1, or The Band Shell, has a full capacity of 50 with seating for 36 (4 regular picnic tables and 2 handicap tables). Max capacity of park is 100, using all three pavilions.
