Description:

Travel with us to New Glarus Wisconsin also known as “America’s Little Switzerland” for a day of exploring history and shopping.  We will visit Swiss Historical Village and Museum where 14 different buildings tell the story of New Glarus and the beginnings of their new life in Wisconsin in 1845.  Chalet Landhaus Restaurant will be our lunch spot and have a cheese fondue demonstration.  Please select your lunch entrees of Wienerschnitzel & G’Schnetzlets along with house salad, Roesti Potatoes, Spetzli, and fresh vegetable.  The last tour will be to the Chalet of the Golden Fleece, Edwin Barlow’s unique collection.  Following the tour, we will some free time to browse the quaint downtown area shops. This trip will include all tours, lunch and transportation provided by Park District Bus. Extensive standing and walking.
