Au cours de cette semaine, les enfants découvrent l’univers artistique coloré et pittoresque de l’artiste britannique David Hockney. Cet artiste est associé au mouvement du pop art qui débute aux États-Unis. Il déménage donc en Californie, ce qui a profondément influencé son travail. Les enfants plongeront dans l’imaginaire californien de ses œuvres à travers ses images de piscines et de paysages enchanteurs. Ils auront l’opportunité d’explorer les différentes facettes de la production artistique diversifiée de Hockney, qui inclut le dessin, la peinture, la gravure et le collage. Des médiations culturelles sont animées afin de découvrir la vie de cet artiste qui connaît aujourd’hui une renommée mondiale. La semaine sera conclue par un vernissage qui mettra à l'honneur les œuvres créées durant les ateliers.

During this week, children discover the colorful and picturesque artistic world of British artist David Hockney. This artist is associated with the pop art movement that began in the United States. His move to California had a profound influence on his work. Children will plunge into the Californian imaginary of his works through images of swimming pools and enchanting landscapes. They will have the opportunity to explore the different facets of Hockney's diverse artistic production, which includes drawing, painting, printmaking and collage. Cultural mediations are organized to discover the life of this artist who is now world-renowned. The week will conclude with a vernissage showcasing the works created during the workshops.
