Aquarist Adventures: Behind the Scenes of Marine Care
Step into the shoes of an aquarist and learn what it takes to care for marine animals! In this hands-on session, students will dissect a squid, explore its anatomy, and even help feed sharks. They’ll also practice essential aquarist skills by measuring water salinity and temperature to ensure a healthy environment for aquarium organisms. This interactive experience fosters curiosity, teamwork, and a deeper understanding of marine life and ecosystems.

Required age: 5 - 11 years old on the day of the activity
Prerequisites: Students must be entering K - 5th grades.
