Crabs and Invertebrate Discoveries
Dive into the fascinating world of marine invertebrates with a focus on crabs and their bay and ocean counterparts! Begin by revisiting where bay and ocean animals thrive, using the Bay from Space poster to illustrate their habitats. At the Ocean Invertebrate Station, explore the rocky shore environment and meet the diverse invertebrates that inhabit it. Students will then move to the Bay Invertebrate Station to discover local bay creatures, discussing their unique adaptations and roles in the ecosystem. This interactive experience highlights the contrasts between bay and ocean invertebrates, emphasizing their specialized traits and survival strategies. Engage in drawing or creating a new invertebrate, enhancing understanding of these incredible creatures.

Prerequisites: Students must be entering K - 5th grades.
