Description:
This challenge class explains how things in the world work by using the design process to construct models with LEGO®blocks. Students will be presented with a nonfiction wonder topic and background information about the subject. After the prompt, students will participate in a guided build to explain how the real world model works. Students will be encouraged to ask questions and expand on their creations by modifying to improve or create a new invention either on their own, with a partner, or in a group. Students will conclude by sharing their ideas and modified builds or new creations.
