Description:

Join Stewardship & Outreach Seasonal Ren Wells for a guided plant walk where we'll practice using our Spanish vocabulary in a real-world conservation setting. We'll have a few raffle prizes of lamintated flash cards to give away!

During the walk, we'll review:

• Vocabulary and practical phrases for being outdoors
• Printed resources from the ¡Habla Verde! Resource Hub, which includes:
  • A Guide to Spanish in Conservation (Online version & printable PDF)
  • Field-friendly phrase guides
  • Vocabulary sheets for practice
  • Downloadable lanyard cards

We'll be meeting at the Lost Valley Vistitor Center:

Prerequisites: This event is more appropriate for teens and adults. Any volunteers ages 14-17 are encouraged to attend with a parent/guardian, or may attend with a permission slip if their parent/guardian is not attending.
