Description:

During this 1-week camp, pianists will develop their skills in music theory, ear training, transposition, solo performance, and participate in masterclasses with Merit's esteemed piano faculty.

This camp is best for intermediate to advanced pianists (including Conservatory pianists!) with a minimum of 3 full years of instruction with a piano teacher and is available to students by teacher recommendation or a placement audition. If you don’t have a teacher recommendation, please contact Piano Program Manager, Sarah Forbes (sforbes@meritmusic.org), to schedule your audition before registering.

Don’t forget your instrument! Every student will need their own keyboard/piano for practicing at home by the first day of camp. Check out Merit's Music & Instrument Library to learn about your instrument rental options.
