Meet Plainview native Ira Kohler for a discussion of his powerful new memoir, Once a Paratrooper: The Story of a Lone Soldier in the Gaza War. Kohler will reflect on his service as a paratrooper during the Gaza War, detailing the challenges and camaraderie of being a "Lone Soldier" in the IDF. A book signing and Q&A session will follow.
