Lyrics, Lens & Legacy Join our own Miri Kessar as we explore powerful and timely relevant Israeli music, films, and cultural works that helped shape the people and the state of Israel. Each session focuses on a particular song or film rooted in or connected to real events and experiences and invites participants to look beneath the surface; what can it teach us about Israeli society and its enduring spirit? Through bilingual Hebrew–English introductions and guided conversation, we will explore themes of courage, resilience, hope, responsibility, memory, and community. Taught by our very own Miri Kessar Thursday, October 15 6:30-8:30 pm and Thursday, November 19, 2026 6:30-9 pm
