Prerequisites:

• Minimum age: 17
• Must have current American Red Cross certificate for Lifeguard/ First Aid/CPR/AED for Lifeguards or equivalent. (Nassau County Certification is not acceptable)
• Successful completion of the Online Session for the Lifeguarding Instructor course. Completion certificate must be brought to the pretest.
• Successful demonstration of competency in the Pretest session.
