Are you a playwright with a finished draft?  Are you curious about what a dramaturg can offer? Join Alysse Rich for a free 2-hour workshop of learning and community among your fellow Canadians. Bring your writing, your questions, and your curiosities. (Sharing your work is not a requirement) Please register by April 8. The workshop will take place on zoom. In partnership with Koffler Arts and the Harold Green Jewish Theatre. Generously supported by UJA’s Kultura Collective. 

Alysse Rich (she/her) is a freelance dramaturg, creator, and Jewish educator based in Toronto. She holds a PhD in Drama, Theatre, and Performance Studies from the University of Toronto, where she studied modern adaptations of Greek tragic choruses. She is also the Director of Education at the Danforth Jewish Circle, where she enjoys learning with students of all ages. Alysse is the owner of East Toronto Judaica (supporting small-scale publishers and Jewish artists) and the chair of the board of Nightswimming (a Toronto dramaturgy company).
