Mile Square Theatre offers an array of in-person classes for pre-K-12th grade students and adults. We offer a supportive and creative environment where every student is free to explore, play, and develop their unique artistic voice. For Dance, pre-professional-level training in Ballet, Contemporary and Theater Dance, Tap, and Hip Hop, is staffed by working professional dancers. Emphasis is placed on alignment, technique and purity of form in a fun and nurturing environment. In our theatre classes, emphasis on natural, simple and honest storytelling fosters greater understanding of our world. We are dedicated to exploring essential truths onstage. Driven by the belief that theater challenges and transforms our ways of thinking and urge us to reflect on our role in society. Through our community-based education programs, we are committed to building performer confidence and skills while uncovering and celebrating the stories of our varied human existence. For twenty years, Mile Square Theatre has been at the forefront of professional theatre production and transformative arts education.
