Description:

This 3 day creative writing workshop is beginner level, perfect for those who have never written a play before and have little knowledge of the process of writing a play. It provides an introduction to the process of playwriting in a practical step-by-step framework. Topics of exploration range from where do ideas come from to how to give feedback. Participants will access  the tools they need to write their first monologue, scene, or short play and gain the confidence they need to write further. The culminating project for this session is an extended scene or 3-5 page play presented in a staged reading format with final reflection.
