Description:

From tumbles to twists and turns, leaps and jumps, acrobatic skills are key to perfecting many dances. Combo classes hone acrobatic techniques in students as they continue to develop in other movement styles. This combo class combines tap, jazz and acrobatic movement exploration in a single setting. The class combines the skills of dance and gymnastics to help students develop strength, flexibility, balance and discipline.

Students will learn:

Gymnastic fundamentals tailored to dancers

Safe practices to increase flexibility

Core strength development and muscle control
