Mind-Builders Creative Arts Center in the Northeast Bronx is now recruiting for an exciting paid summer internship program for youth ages 14-21! The Dr. Beverly J. Robinson Community Folk Culture Program offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable skills in research, media, and public speaking, all while engaging with talented artists and community leaders.

Internship Highlights:

  • Hone research and interview techniques
  • Develop photo and video documentation and editing skills
  • Practice archiving and document preservation
  • Improve public speaking and multimedia presentation skills
  • Connect with local artists and community leaders

Program Details:

  • Duration: 5 weeks (July 8th – August 8th)
  • Schedule: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 10 AM – 3:30 PM
  • Location: Mind-Builders Creative Arts Center, 3415 Olinville Avenue, Bronx, NY 10467
  • Stipend: $625 - $750 (based on attendance, participation, and completion of assignments)

  • Application Deadline: April 30, 2025 (11:59 PM)
  • Finalist Interviews: June 3, 2025
  • Program Dates: July 8 – August 8, 2025
