Mason Pavilion  - $100 + tax for the day

• This pavilion comes with electricity and a charcoal grill. 
• Restrooms are a very short walk away from the pavilion.
• Reserve a shelter or facility using our online system! Reservations can be made up to a year in advance
• At this time, in addition to online reservations, in-person park shelter reservations will be done by phone or in-person appointment only. Please email mdpark@monongaliacounty.gov to set up an appointment.

• Details for pavilion rentals include:

  Pavilions are available to renters from 10:00 AM until dusk. Please have your items removed and facilities returned to their original condition no later than these times.

  Full rental payment and all deposit(s) are due at the time of making this reservation

  Pets must be on leashes not to exceed six feet in length. Cleaning up after your pet is required. Animals are NOT permitted entry into any building on Monongalia County Commission property except for service animals.

  Alcoholic beverages are prohibited on premises without a permit. Liability insurance may be necessary.

  Events charging admission for commercial use or profit-making ventures require permission from the Park Superintendent of Mason Dixon Historical Park. Insurance Required!

  Open burning or cooking is allowed in designated areas only. No ground fires are allowed.

  All signage placed on the property by the renter must be removed by the close of the event.

  Smoking is prohibited in all buildings, wooded areas on Monongalia County Commission property, and within 100 feet of the athletic fields.

  Before exiting the pavilion at the conclusion of your rental. Cleaning up all food droppings and spills, picking up all trash in and around the pavilion, removing tape, nails, staples, push pins from picnic tables, and taking all trash to the dumpster.  Do not drag trash bags through the pavilion area or parking lot. Take your tied garbage to the dumpster. If the dumpster is locked, leave bags next to the dumpster for park staff.

  Pieces of trash on the ground, outside the building, and cigarette butts are highly frowned upon.

  The use of confetti, paint, and/or water balloons will cause an immediate $50 charge for cleaning the pavilion area. We are very particular that our facilities are well taken care of by the renter. That way, the next park visitor gets to have the same experience your group enjoyed.

  If any of these steps are not followed, a cleaning and/or damage charge will incur.

  Cancellation & Refund Policy

• Written notice of cancellation of any rental given prior to thirty (30) days of said rental is eligible for a refund of seventy-five percent (75%), excluding taxes and fees. A twenty-five (25%) cancellation charge applies.
• No refund will be given 30 days or less before said reservation. 
• All refunds are awarded in the form of an account credit.
• We do not offer rain checks/refunds for weather.
• Not calling to cancel/no show will result in forfeiture of all fees, taxes, and deposits.
