Looking for a fun way to introduce your child to ice skating? Join our Learn to Skate Level 1 Program at the Ste-Agathe Arena! This program, designed for children aged 4+, offers a fantastic opportunity for new skaters to learn essential skating skills in a supportive and enjoyable environment.

Program Details:

  • Location: Ste-Agathe Arena
  • Time: Sundays from 10:15 AM to 11:00 AM
  • Dates: January 5- March 2

Program Highlights:

  • Mandatory Parent Involvement: Parents or guardians must be on the ice with their child, providing assistance and support throughout the session. Both must have basic skating abilities.
  • Fun & Games: We keep the energy high with engaging activities that make learning enjoyable!
  • Step-by-Step Progress: Each child will advance at their own pace, with a focus on mastering basic skills like standing up and skating unassisted.
  • Family Bonding: This program is a great way for parents and children to learn together and build lasting memories.

Mandatory Equipment:

  • CSA-approved hockey helmets and either hockey or figure skates are required for both the child and the parent/guardian.

Whether your child has never skated before or needs help gaining confidence, this program will ensure they’re gliding with pride by the end of the season!
