Description:
The Nature Institute is partnering with the Missouri Botanical Garden and other conservation organizations in Illinois and Missouri to remove large swaths of invasive honeysuckle (Lonicera mackii and Lonicera japonica). TNI invites you to join us for a morning of cutting, and pulling these most hated plant species. We will be working in the Mississippi Sanctuary in a section near the bluff edge. The terrain will be on an incline, but not so steep that most people can not easily stand and work. The walk to the work site will be about 1/2 mile along a paved roadway. Things to bring:
