Description:
This video audition is for the Young Dancers Program’s Intensive Ballet Stream at Canada's National Ballet School. Your audition must be in the form of a pre-recorded video. When you register, you can choose to do the following: Link to your pre-prepared private video streaming audition (uploaded as an unlisted video on YouTube, Vimeo, etc.) Provide a link after registering to youngdancers@nbs-enb.ca (you must indicate in the question that you will email separately) Please review and adhere to the Video Audition Requirements Please disregard the audition schedule and start date displayed here, as this is merely a registration and payment portal. Participants should wear appropriate ballet attire including ballet slippers (no skirts please). Beginners may wear a one-piece bathing suit and white ankle socks, or a tightly fitted tee-shirt and shorts with white ankle socks. When you register, you will be asked to submit a portrait style headshot of the auditioning dancer. The image will be used by NBS staff for identification purposes during the audition process and does not need to be professionally shot.
