Canada’s National Ballet School (NBS) is seeking volunteers for the NBS Block Party on Saturday, May 30, 2026 (10 AM to 5 PM). Now in its fifth year, this festival-style event is an annual NBS tradition that attracts thousands of attendees. With live rehearsals and pop-up performances, diverse and engaging dance workshops, guest giveaways, and dedicated family-friendly spaces and activities, the event delights and captivates attendees of all ages. From overseeing event setup and guest wayfinding to helping out at any of our family-friendly activity stations, our volunteers are essential in creating an inviting atmosphere for event attendees and play a vital role in bringing this ambitious celebration to life each year. The event will take place on the School’s campus at 400 Jarvis Street. Volunteers can sign up for individual shifts or provide full-day support, and will receive a free volunteer t-shirt and lunch. Register today to volunteer at the 2026 NBS Block Party! A volunteer orientation session is scheduled for Tuesday, May 26th from 6pm-7pm on Zoom.
