Description:

This beginner class is open to all students looking to learn how to swim or become more proficient. Curriculum is divided into five stages reflecting the five core competencies of functional swimming: Trust and Submersion, Body Position and Air Recovery, Forward Movement and Direction Change, Rotary Movement, and Integrated Movement. Ages 14+

Required age: Over 14 years old on the day of the activity

Notes: The Park District understands that schedules change and are happy to accommodate refund requests when possible. If you would like, staff are happy to assist you in transferring your registration to another program, usually for no additional fee. Refunds must be requested 48 hours before a program meets for the second time or no refund will be issued.
