Description:
For the aspiring young hockey player who has already mastered the skating skills taught in Learn to Skate 1 & 2 (or Mini Cubs 1 & 2). In this class your child will learn the fundamentals of hockey and will develop basic skating, stickhandling, passing, and shooting skills in a fun, game-based class. Prerequisites: Learn to Skate 1 & 2 (or Mini Cubs 1 & 2)

Price: $125.00 - $145.00 Taxes waived
Required age: 4 - 6 years old on the day of the activity
Notes: For the safety of all skaters on the ice, each level of the Hockey Academy requires full hockey equipment. The Park District of Oak Park proudly offers free rental gear to skaters new to the game or unable to participate due to the high cost of equipment. There is limited availability and equipment is distributed on a first come, first serve basis and all fittings must be done before your first day of class. For details, please contact hockey@pdop.org. Skate Rental is now included in all classes.
