Description:
Ice Bears Academy is for the young hockey player aspiring to play on a hockey team and who has mastered the skills taught in Hockey 201. Players will be on the ice two days a week with one day dedicated to multi-station skills training and one for cross-ice games.
Skills practice will be held on Wednesdays with small-ice games on Sundays
Please note that there is no class on the following date(s):
- Sunday, April 20, 2025 from 9:15 AM to 10:15 AM
- Sunday, May 25, 2025 from 9:15 AM to 10:15 AM

Price: $304.00 - $367.00 Taxes waived
Required age: 9 - 13 years old as of 12/31/2025
Notes: For the safety of all skaters on the ice, each level of the Hockey Academy requires full hockey equipment. The Park District of Oak Park proudly offers free rental gear to skaters new to the game or unable to participate due to the high cost of equipment. There is limited availability and equipment is distributed on a first come, first serve basis and all fittings must be done before your first day of class. For details, please contact hockey@pdop.org. Skate Rental is now included in all classes.
