Coaching Requirements
- Minimally reached Bantam/U14 in competitive hockey
- Attendance to Student Coaching Sessions is MANDATORY to continue Student Coaching. There are 5 in-class Student Coaching sessions and 8 on-ice practices.
- Players may have up to 3 absences which they must notify hockey@pdop.org PRIOR to the start of class to be approved. Unapproved absences can result in suspension from Student Coaching
- Players must provide a valid USA Hockey Confirmation Number and remain in good standing and maintain player eligibility within USA Hockey and AHAI to participate in Student Coaching.
Players must complete the application & waivier, availability form, and background check prior to coaching. All forms and waivers should be emailed to Hockey@pdop.org by the Friday prior to the first session.

Student Coaching Availability Form

Ages: 13 – 17
Description: Have you ever wanted to become a hockey coach? This class is the first step to achieving that goal. The course will follow USA Hockey’s training program for Jr. Coaches.
Available spots: 8/10
Price: $0.00 Taxes waived
Required age: 12 - 17 years old on the day of the activity
