Come out to try a pre-historic weapon: The Atlatl

This spear launcher was used for hunting in many parts of the world, even before bows were used. Today you can still hunt with them in a few selected states.

We'll have a class set out and will take turns tossing darts.

Required age: Over 8 years old on the day of the activity

Notes: No refunds will be issued for this purchase unless Peel Compton Foundation cancels the program due to low participation or weather. 

More information: Be sure to wear closed toe shoes to the range and leave any dangling jewelry at home.
