  Important information

Summer is a time to explore and find new things. Pekin Park District's Summer Adventure Day Camp allows children to explore the world around them and find new hobbies and friends. We like to play hard throughout the day with various games, sports, crafts, water games, weekly trips to Dragonland (2 times per week), and a memorable field trip or activity (weekly). We've had reports of campers coming home, some days, and falling asleep at supper. 

There is a $10 per camper per summer Registration fee. The software will prompt you to register for a membership before you can continue. That is what this is. 

 

Quick Facts: 

Camp hours are 6:30 to 6 pm daily (except July 4), with drop off and pick up at the Veterans Memorial Arena. 

Campers are in a group that is staffed by a counselor who is CPR/First Aid Certified, Mandated Reporter Training, and other developmental classes.

We provide breakfast and afternoon snacks daily. You can send a sack lunch or campers may participate in the free hot lunch program through the Pekin Township.

We ask that every camper bring a backpack with extra clothes and anything that they may need daily in it. Mark everything with your name.

 

Important Refund Policy (differs from other program refund policies):

• Refunds must be requested no less than seven days before the requested dates.
• Refunds cannot be given for past days or weeks missed.
• Refunds cannot be given in cases of illness
• Refunds of single days when registered for a whole week cannot be given.
• Approved refunds will be given as a credit back to the credit card used for payment or a check from Pekin Park District. Refunds may take 7-10 days to be received.
