Description:

Join us as we honor our Veterans Day with a special screening the documentary, Rohna Classified.

In November 1943, an ill equipped British transport ship was sunk by a German radio controlled glide bomb killing 1,015 US soldiers. The attack remains the greatest loss of life at sea by enemy action in the history of US war. The government deflected responsibility for the high number of casualties by declaring the disaster classified and ordered all survivors to remain silent forever! Ellen Weber, a daughter of a Rohna survivor and Gems community member will be here to answer questions and share how this moment in history impacted her life.
