Imagine living outdoors surrounded by hundreds of plants to be gathered for food and medicines all year long. Foods were not only nutritous, but some had healing properties as well. Many plants have compunds considered to be preventative to disease when consumed for nutritoin. The number of products in drug stores that make us feel better to have alternatives in wild plants.
